Organic Pet food in our Eco-friendly Pet Bowl

Toby the TeddySo, this week I thought it would be a good idea to look into organic pet foods for our new Becobowls. After a quick search on google and a few phone calls later I was soon talking to the nice people at Organipets.

As the UKs number one ethical pet food company, Organipets has built up a reputation for the high quality, healthy pet food. All their food is both organic and hypoallergenic.

Key to the success of Organipets has been their commitment to better animal welfare. For example there chicken is not only organic, its free range as well. It also means that their products contain no pesticides, fertilisers, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Now I’ve already been down to the local Waitrose and picked up a 12kg bag for Angus the Dog and I think we should have a small bag for James the Cat before the end of the week.

But if you get a second check out: http://www.organipets.co.uk/index.php

Snapped! Becopotties out for delivery

Hi Guys, just caught Toby the Teddy sorting out a delivery of our potties to JoJo Maman Bebe and though I’d get a photo of them all boxed up…sorry if you thought the photo was going to be more interesting! Anyways, Toby the Teddy has been working hard to make sure that even the packing boxes on these ones are in brand and they look very smart. Each box has 16 Becopotties and the van used for that delivery was pretty full to say the least.
Becopotties boxed up and ready for delivery

Check these out in store very soon at JoJo Maman Bebe!

becohangers deserve eco fashion.

Natalie the Bunny

as any fashion savvy bunny knows, eco hangers as nice as the becothings range deserve equally pretty and eco friendly clothes.

it’s not always easy to find out whether the clothes you buy in stores come from sustainable and fair trade sources, so i have put on my sexy secretary glasses and done a bit of research to find the best planet saving fashion out there…

fashion conscience is a great site for all things fashion and eco related: www.fashion-conscience.com. not only can you buy online, but you can also pick up tips on the latest trends and labels.

some of my favourite eco labels are…

rani jones: www.ranijones.com

enamore: www.enamore.co.uk

ciel: www.cielshop.co.uk

miksa: www.miksa.co.uk

all are dedicated to sourcing sustainable and environmentally sound clothing that is still at the forefront of fashion. plus, they are very flattering on bunny ears…

finally, to go with your amazing new eco friendly clothes, what better than vintage recycled bags and accessories? check out poppy valentine [www.poppyvalentine.com] and matt&nat [www.mattandnat.co.uk] for planet saving prettiness.

just make sure you remember to stock up on our becohangers to hang everything on!

The Becofamily

Al the Elephant present and ready for duty. Our fantastic range of environmentally friendly products are not only displayed in the stores of John Lewis and JoJo Maman Bebe, but thanks to Toby the Teddy, Angus the Dog, and the BecoFamily in general, you can view them online – on our fantastic website www.becothings.com. Furthermore, our addition to Twitter and ever expanding Facebook membership means that more and more people know and have the chance to learn about and choose to buy environmentally sound products over products which harm the environment. So the revolution has begun! And Al the Elephant (currently riding high in the No.1 spot for favourite design as voted by the people…) is looking forward to the future.

John Lewis and JoJo Maman Bébé stock Eco-friendly Hanger

I just wanted to give everybody a quick update on the latest sales of our eco-friendly hangers, the Becohanger.

John Lewis have been stocking the Becohangers since late november and the sales have been strong. Supplying John Lewis was a real buzz for us and seeing the complete range of 12 different design nationwide really showed that Becothings is taking off! At the moment the full range is available in the Haberdashery department, but in some stores they can also be found within the main hanger selection. We are hoping that John Lewis will launch the product online sometime in the new year.

Recently JoJo Mama Bebe also came on board as a Becothings stockist and have added 3 of our children’s hanger designs to there catalogue and online store. We have not had a full sales report yet but I heard a rumour that the Teddies were easily the best selling design!

Patent Pending new Fibre Hanger

Toby the TeddySo then guys I have just received news that we have been granted a patent pending on our new eco-friendly hanger. The Fibre Hanger will be added to our range of Becohangers and should hopefully make an appearance online soon! We just need Angus the Dog to work his magic and whiz up a new page and we should be all stations go.

The Fibre Hanger is made from our unique plant fibre material and through some clever engineering (from you know who!) combines a two parts to make the complete hanger. This was the first time two components have been assembled in this material and it has taken a lot of hard work to make the project come together. I just want to say thank you to everybody involved.

Hopefully you should see the new Fibre Hanger in retail stores near you soon!
